The annual Dahlia show is back this weekend at the County Fair building next to the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Check out hundreds of blooms and vote in the contest. 10-5 Saturday, 10-4 Sunday. Free!
For parents of little ones, UCSF in the Community is hosting a "Touch a Truck" event on 9/12 - an opportunity to see and board some of the big machinery and equipment being used to build the new hospital and research facilities at the Parnassus campus. The event will be at the old Clancy's lot on 7th and Lawton. bit.ly/TouchaTruckUCSF
Applications are still open for the Inner Sunset Vibrancy Fund. Up to $20k in grants to help with storefront beautification, technical assistance, and new and emerging businesses. Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis, and the fund closes on 8/28. Please share with businesses in the neighborhood!
