District 7 has something rare in San Francisco: Participatory Budgeting, a process where residents propose real projects and vote on how to spend public money. This year, the top 11 vote-getters get funded.![]()
Two projects are right here in the Inner Sunset, and they both deserve our support:![]()
Project 10 — 16th Avenue Pedestrian Safety at Kirkham
A high-traffic intersection near the Hidden Garden Steps and a preschool gets much-needed safety improvements.![]()
Project 16 — Lincoln & 5th Avenue Park Entrance
A colorful new crosswalk, separated pedestrian and cyclist paths, and safety upgrades at one of our most-used entrances to Golden Gate Park. ![]()
