SF New Deal, a nonprofit that has supported San Francisco small businesses since the pandemic, has launched the Inner Sunset Neighborhood Vibrancy Fund, the first program of its kind in a residential neighborhood. Funded by local neighbors who believe in this corner of the city, it will support up to 20 local businesses with grants in three categories:Up to $10,000 for storefront beautificationUp to $5,000 for technical assistanceUp to $20,000 for businesses taking over a vacant storefrontApplications will be reviewed by a central team and a community advisory group of fellow Inner Sunset neighbors. ISPN is proud to serve on that advisory alongside the Inner Sunset Merchants Association. The grant is open to small businesses located between 5th Avenue and 19th Avenue, bounded by Lincoln Way and Kirkham Street. If you own a small business in this corridor, or know someone who does, this is worth a look. Spread the word - a little investment in our storefronts goes a long way toward making this stretch of the city as welcoming as it can be.Apply at sfnewdeal.org! sfnewdeal.org/inner-sunset-neighborhood-vibrancy-fund ...
