Topic: Forum on Local Businesses
The Inner Sunset recently seen old business leave and many new businesses come over the past year. What are the differences between local business and national chains as it pertains to the Inner Sunset? What is the landlord role in these decisions? What are the rules around chains coming into our community? Can we as a community encourage the businesses we want? Does “voting” by using your feet and dollars have the desired effect in the long run? What is the details of our Neighborhood Commercial District? Come listen to experts and ask questions.
Moderated by Hoodline reporter Walter Thompson. Panelists include representatives from the Inner Sunset Merchant Association, the Hayes Valley Merchants Association, and a commercial real estate broker.
