Inner Sunset Farmers’ Market Temporary Move
August 25th & September 1st
Laguna Honda schoolyard: Accessible from 6th Avenue between Irving and Judah
Hours remain 9am – 1pm
The Inner Sunset Farmers’ Market (ISFM) will be moving temporarily to the schoolyard at Laguna Honda School on two Sundays: August 25th and September 1st. This move is happening because of ADA compliance upgrades at the usual ISFM location on 9th Avenue.
The farmers and vendors who come each week to the market are hard-working folks who are probably rather anxious not to lose too much business on these two weekends. For some reason, things have been a little slow at the market in recent weeks – maybe it’s been the fog or the new Richmond farmers’ market. So do come and support the market on August 25th and September 1st.
While we’re on the subject, let’s show some love for the ISFM. Since it’s beginning a few years ago, the market has been an amazing contribution to our community. Not only are we supporting local, and often organic, agriculture but so many locals have gotten to know each other and created a stronger attachment to their neighbors. Personally, I attend every market I can and the joy of bumping into new faces and old never diminishes.
