We are a volunteer group working to improve and enhance habitat for butterflies in Golden Gate Park, specifically on Strawberry Hill. (www.strawberryhillsf.org)
We are heading into our 5th year together, working closely with San Francisco Park and Recreation and the surrounding communities. This Spring we have the opportunity to apply for a “Community Opportunities Fund” grant and will be hosting meetings with both our Inner Sunset and Inner Richmond neighbors to present our ideas. We are excited to engage with both communities and exchange ideas and generate enthusiasm for these improvements to Strawberry Hill.
We will host a table at the Inner Sunset Farmers Market on Sunday March 8th, from 10am until 12 noon. We will display drawings of the project and talk with Inner Sunset neighbors about the renovation. Feedback will be crucial for the design to ensure the visitor experience is suitable for all. Please stop by, learn about our work and possibly get involved.
