The Inner Sunset Flea Market draws the crowds

The first Inner Sunset Flea Market on Irving Street (the third of four Inner Sunset Sundays events in 2015), on October 18th, drew big crowds, many vendors, and countless high-quality, unique items for sale. Handy kitchen appliances, antique chandeliers, a painting by a chimpanzee (!), and more were snapped up by attendees. Meanwhile, children played merrily on the western end of the street, sending foam rockets into the air, playing giant Connect 4, and dashing underneath the big colorful parachute. What a day!

We’ve already had numerous calls and emails since the event asking when the next one will be. Well? Unfortunately, the future is uncertain. The team behind the event is getting close to burn out and desperately need new community members step up to help with organizing. If new people can get involved, more wonderful flea markets could be on the way in 2016. If you would like to join the effort to make more flea markets happen, email info@inner-sunset.org and let us know!
