December’s Inner Sunset Sundays (ISS) “Santastic” event raised $1,400 for Family House Inc. The funds were raised through family photos with Santa, a raffle (including a helicopter ride!), and more. This was the first time all proceeds from an ISS went to a charitable cause and the events’ organizers are looking into making this an annual feature.
Family House is a local charity that provides direct services to sick children and their families during treatment at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
On February 1st, Benioff Children’s Hospitals will move to its new location in Mission Bay. There will be a convoy of patients throughout the day. Family House will build a new site near the Mission Bay hospital site. More information.
