Come have fun with local NERT teammates in a fast-paced refresher on how to run a NERT staging area. Plus we’ll have pizza, drinks, and a vegan, gluten-free food option! Look for us in Ben’s Room (entrance on Irving Street) at St. John of God Church, 5th Avenue and Irving St., at 6:30 pm on Feb. 21. PLEASE REGISTER HERE so we can estimate the food.
Is your memory a little hazy about what’s expected of a Task Force Leader at the staging area? Are you at all confused about how to run the Planning, Operations, Logistics, Communications, or Finance/Administration sections of the staging area? Are your memories of the Incident Command System (ICS) forms drenched in a dreadful sense of chaos? Then this exercise is for you! Even if you feel like you know these things well, please come join the role-playing and meet your NERT teammates as we all learn the fun way in The Staging Game.
This will come in handy when we hold our first-ever neighborhood drill on May 7.
